Writer4me.com: Hire professional ghostwriters, bloggers

Up
vote
Down

General Comments

1. Their Price. They are by far the most reasonably priced writing/ghostwriting service I came across. They are charging $9.99 per page to write books, ebooks, articles and blog posts. Though they have other services at higher prices too, I believe their $9.99 per page pricing is affordable to anyone. It saves you from the hassles of hunting for freelancers.

2. Their range. Writer4me.com is offering a wide range of services - probably I saw over 35 different services they are offering: from business cards to brochures, from ebooks to screenplays; from blog posts to sales pages ; one will get almost every writing and mild-designing service under one roof.

3. Their experience. Their founder, has worked with BBC and National Geographic and has been in the industry for about 10 years as far as I am aware.

4. Their professionalism. I liked their efficiency. I had ordered 2 ebooks to be written - one 30 page small ebook on boxing and another 80 page ebook on credit repair. They delivered me the 1st within the 1st week; and the 2nd on the 11th day. There were nothing much we had to get altered.

5. Customer service. They have 24/7 customer service and they have always got back to me within 3 - 6 hours.

6. Their blog. Their official blog is a good one and I got to know much about small business from it. It was helpful.

7. Their high end services - Their high end services like screenplay writing, biography, hire a bestseller writer, are quite exclusive, though they come with a higher price tag.

Good Points

The best thing about writer4me.com is that I did not have to post projects for bidding and waste time - their prices are at par with services like Elance. Besides, I got everything under one roof - my ebook, ebook cover design, sales page copy, website development. I did not have to contact 3 different organizations for these services. That way I would recommend their services.
Bad Points

1. For their economical pricing ($9.99 per page) I think some people may underestimate their professionalism. I think they should raise their price to a higher standard, considering the good service they provide.

2. From time to time they announce various offers. In March I got the offer 10% off on order over $1,000; in April the offer became 1 ebook cover design free with one ebook. Personally it made me feel, I should have waited for the better offer. You never know what offer they are announcing next month, and whether that offer is going to be better than the current month's offer.

Free Games should be Free

Up

Down

Ever wonder why playing Free Online Games often requires a membership? Yeah, you can play 10 or so games as a guest, but then comes the part of giving up your email address and bulking up on more spam. Great!

We don't like that scenario either. That's why we designed www.getgameshere.com. A site with no membership section, ever. The site is filled with free games to play, for free.

The collection is no where near as large as other gaming sites. It is being carefully hand picked to select only quality games.

We hope you'll like our idea. The site has a contact area where you can drop us a line and let us know. read more...

An open letter to Blizzard Management

Up

Down

Congratulations on your wildly successful game, World of Warcraft. As a PVP strategy game designer myself, I'd like to point out one of the characteristics of your game that sometimes goes unnoticed but is key to its success.

You have created a consistent environment where we can all play in our own way. People say WoW is casual-friendly. I think it is freedom-friendly. We each are free to play with as much or as little structure as we see fit.

The fact that people with such wildly varying play styles and interests can find satisfaction in your world is the ever-present principle that has led to WoW's broad appeal.

I've seen the argument many times that 'WoW is a PVE game'. WoW is much more than that. WoW will always consist of a mostly PVE environment. But to me, the PVE world is simply part of the environment where I can partake as much -- or as little -- as I want.

Personally, I don't like highly structured PVE encounters with considerable -- and required -- multi-player coordination. Fortunately for me, you've created multiple tiers of progressively more structured PVE encounters. I occasionally do 5-man instances and I've even done a few 10-man raids, but I quickly grow tired of the overhead and bored of scripted encounters. I spend far more time in the non-instanced PVE world.

Similarly, battleground PVP and arena PVP have very different styles of play that appeal to very different players. With arenas, the structure and overhead of communication and coordination, the creation and maintenance of a team, the scheduling of play time, and the composition analysis and re-comping of a team are all demands that detract from the fun -- for some. Others use their management and analysis skills, their knowlege of other classes, and their self-discipline to set themselves apart in arenas.

Battlegrounds, on the other hand, are available to everyone any time. The game handles the creation of teams and you can communicate and coordinate as much or as little as you see fit. Battlegrounds are low-overhead PVP fun, on demand.

Please don't make the decision to forever lump battlegrounds and arena into a single vision of PVP. Please don't let someone's vision of 'integrated PVP' dictate and limit how players can have fun in your game. Separate the requirements of battlegrounds and arenas and let people do either or both -- without arbitrary interdependencies. Envision it as multiple tiers of PVP; non-instanced, battlegrounds, and arenas. And then let their rewards stand alone. Give battlegrounds their own tier of gear again, free from requirements of arena points and ratings. Let battlegrounds reward gear of sufficient quality to keep -- and grow -- the huge battleground player base.

Wireless Antenna Types

Up

Down

There are three main categories of antennas:

  • Omni-directional - Omni-directional antennas radiate RF in a fashion similar to the way a table or floor lamp radiates light. They are designed to provide general coverage in all directions.
  • Semi-directional - Semi-directional antennas radiate RF in a fashion similar to the way a wall sconce is designed to radiate light away from the wall or the way a street lamp is designed to shine light down on a street or a parking lot, providing a directional light across a large area.
  • Highly-directional - Highly-directional antennas radiate RF in a fashion similar to the way a spotlight is designed to focus light on a flag or a sign. Each type of antenna is designed with a different objective in mind.
