A.L.I.C.E is an "Artificial Linguistic Internet Computer Entity" capable of intelligent conversation. She will amaze you with her ability to come up with a relevant response to just about anything! If I didn't know better, I'd think she was human.
Example of a conversation with Alice:
ME: Hello, Alice.
ALICE: Hi there!
ME: Tell me about yourself.
ALICE: I am an artificial linguistic entity. I was activated at Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on November 23, 1995. My instructor was Doctor Richard S. Wallace. He taught me to sing a song. Would you like me to sing it for you?.
ME: No, thank you.
ALICE: Why not?
ME: I'm in a hurry.
ALICE: Do you have another appointment now?
ME: No.
ALICE: I see.
ME: I have to go write a review of you.
ALICE: Bye. Count me out on this one, I was never much of a writer.
ME: Bye.
ALICE: See you later.
