You start by creating a NeoPet of one of a long list of different species. You select its name, color, gender, and what it likes to do.
Now that you have a NeoPet, you'll need to feed it. Just go and buy some food from the burger-shaped shop in the main shop area. You pay with NeoPoints (NP), which you can get from playing games, auctioning off items, creating new pets, and sometimes just randomly.
Play games, and you can get NP, items, or even a trophy. There is a large selection of games in three categories (Luck/Chance, Puzzles, and Action).
When you have enough NP, you can build a NeoHome and furnish it. You can get different furniture from the different "worlds", which all have different stores and games.
If you are really rich, you can get a "paint brush" and change your pet's color. There are dozens of paint brushes to choose from, if you can find them.
If you are really poor, on the other hand, you can get food for your pets from the Soup Faerie and free gifts from the Money Tree.
This is the best virtual pet site I have ever seen, and apparently there are lots of other people who feel the same way I do. There are more than a million NeoPets accounts! Just ask them if you don't believe this site is "the best virtual pet site on the Internet"!
Yes, I know I have posted two previous reviews of virtual pet sites. However, this one is so great I just had to review it. |
